Hey, I'm Joel!

For nearly my whole life I've been passionate about technology and computing. I always took apart my electronics as a kid because I just had to know how everything worked. I even started learning programming languages before I got into high school/secondary school. Nowadays my career passions are focused on cloud technology, where I've been able to architect numerous massive-scale systems on top of cloud-native toolkits. In my free time I love to home-lab, home-automate, and home-relax with a video game or movie. I'm a nerd at heart so you'll catch me turning my house into a secret datacenter using the same cloud tooling from my day job.
